Well, I tried Bikram yoga. After surviving it, I have made a conscious decision to never go back. Even though they said they welcome beginners, I felt very out of place among the very skinny, very flexible yogis. The instructor told us to stop for a minute or two if we felt nauseous or dizzy in the heat, and maybe even sit for a minute. Well, I think I sat more than I actually worked. I think next I'll look for yoga that is not practiced in the sweltering heat.

Next week is spring break, but before getting there, I've got to do a take home reading exam (due Monday), meet to discuss a group presentation about Atlanta's economics Monday), go to a presentation by Michael Shuman (Tuesday evening), present my map of "How Space is Used" on Commonwealth Avenue (due Wednesday), figure out where my trash is taken and where it will be taken once that landfill is full (due Thursday), turn in my essay topic and approach (due Thursday), and complete a practice exam question (due Thursday). Phew!

But then, I have off from work Friday through Tuesday and I plan to do nothing. Next week I hope to get back on track with all of my school assignments, *finally* get unpacked completely, and relax a little. I might even do a little crocheting, especially now that I have "The Happy Hooker". I also had my mom teach me how to cast on for knitting - so I may try to teach myself (again) how to knit. I've got knit and purl, but I'm not very good.
