I find that there are rare moments of beauty in Northern Virginia. For a short period in spring, trees are in bloom, the weather is warm, and the humidity has not yet set in. I also don't seem to be as allergic to tree pollen as I had previously thought. I can take walks for a lunch break (which might be easier if I did not have a broken toe), and get a good dose of sunshine.
It almost makes me forget about the enormous amounts of school work that I have to finish by next week. Almost.
