I have an addiction. I admit... I am addicted to reusable shopping bags. It doesn't seem like such a bad thing to be addicted to, but let me tell you - when you have bags full of bags full of bags, it's a bit of a problem.
CVS just launched a program that gives you $1 back every 4th time you use a reusable bag. It's pretty cool - although, there seem to be some drawbacks. First, you need a bag tag. Good in concept - and it has a loop on it so you can attach it to your bad. When I went to buy the tag (cost: $1), the cashier told me I had to get a bag (cost: $1). I didn't question it at the time, but does this only work with CVS bags? I have plenty of my own bags at home.
All in all, a $2 investment - I'll have to make 8 separate purchases (only 1 purchase per day per tag) to pay off those $2.
